There is no fight like a church fight. Fighting among church members and often among church leaders is never healthy but unfortunately all too common. I am not talking about appropriate conflict which is a good and necessary thing, but rather nasty fighting that is clearly not pleasing to Jesus.
It recently occured to me that if we would celebrate (rather than resent and argue) the differences in how we think, and function as leaders in the same church, and often on the same team, we would complete each other as Romans 12 and I Corinthians 12 so clearly teach. Quite to the contrary, we instead compete and compare because of our own sick egos and a lack of contentment with who we are and what God has for us. Enough is enough already! What has been your experience?
